Brevard Culture has been selected as a participant in the Fathom Events’ FOUR TICKET GIVEAWAY to Saturday’s live HD screening of the Metropolitan Opera’s “Roberto Devereux.”

All you have to do to enter this ticket giveaway is to “like” this post on Facebook, make a comment and share it with friends. A winner will be chosen at random to receive the four tickets.

Area theaters participating in this free ticket giveaway are: AMC Altamonte Mall 18, Cinemark Festival Bay Mall, AMC Downtown Disney 24, Regal Pointe Orlando Stadium 20 & IMAX, Regal Waterford Lakes Stadium 20 & IMAX and Regal Winter Park Village Stadium 20.

The local theaters screening the opera are Cinemark Avenue 16 in Viera and Merritt Square 16 with Imax; however, they are not participating in the free ticket giveaway.

The HD live broadcast begins 12:55 EST. It runs approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes. It will be followed by an Encore presentation in select cinemas on Wednesday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost .56 with discounts for seniors and children. For more information, click here.

“Roberto Devereux” is an opera by Donizetti. Directed by Sir David McVicar, it features Sondra Radvanovsky as Queen Elizabeth I, forced to sign the death warrant of the nobleman she loves.
