There may only be a couple of auditions coming up, but they are for some provocative, strong theater. So screw your courage to the sticking place and get thee to the auditions.

HAND TO GOD at the Henegar Center. Auditions are scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday, July 10, and Monday July 11. Needed are two men and one woman 18 years and older (20s okay, no one under age 18 years) to each play a 17 year old; one woman in her 40s; and one man in his 40s or 50s. This irreverent, dark comedy also requires puppetry skills, which may be learned during the rehearsal process. Audition will consist of cold readings from the script. LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at Titusville Playhouse. Auditions are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, and Tuesday, July 19. Needed are actors to play Audrey (25 to 35 years), Mr. Mushnik (55 to 65 years), Orin Scrivello (30 to 40 years), The Plant (puppet), Voice of the Plant (male, 20 to 50 years), African American female trio (20 to 35 years), and a small ensemble of men and women.
