No, I have not forgotten you. In this busy season, everyone, including arts providers, are a bit too busy for the normal state of affairs. But there are a few thoughts..
First thoughts turn to you, Brevard Culture’s audience, who in 2017 pushed visits to the website past the 100,000 mark. This is humbling, astounding, exciting and encouraging for a website dedicated to the area culture.
The next thoughts turn to Brevard Culture’s advertisers, the organizations which pay for this free website to run. Please do click on their ads and visit their own websites. You get a deeper look into what’s happening in the area (as well as add to BC’s stats…ahem). You might also want to remind yourself that you’ve only got a week left to make tax deductible donations to your favorite cultural organization.
Finally, it’s all about making sure you’ve got your cultural duckies in a row. If you still have no plans for New Year’s Eve, there might be tickets left to a few events listed below.

RIVERSIDE THEATRE‘s “How at the Moon’s Kiss 2017 GOOD-BYE PARTY” will be held 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Dec. 29 and 30. Judging by how much fun a regular Howl at the Moon event is, this has got to be one raucous, fun-filled experience. Heartily and encouragingly recommended! HEIDI’S JAZZ CLUB has one sweet New Year’s Eve celebration. You might have to “plastic up” for this, but it’s worth every penny. MATT’S WINTER WHITE NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY is open to first come first serve with selections off its regular menu, which is pretty spectacular. The Downtown Melbourne eatery has a gorgeous setting and will feature the Rios Rock Band from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 31. It will offer complimentary champagne toasts to patrons dressed in white. BREVARD ZOO has a NOON YEAR’S EVE for the children. It will celebrate with a ball drop and a juice toast.
